tones of the comeing war

the tone of the united states seems very offended and surprised that the Germans would do such a thing as sinking a ship with Americans on it and seems like there telling the public "don't worry we are gonna make them eat those u-boats" the Germans responses seems like there are worried a bit because they already are dealing with the English blockade and now they have to deal with the Americans as well. they also seem very angry and surprised that the American will break the peace and join the fight after being neutral for so long

POWs

if i was in the situation described i would do what ever i had to do to get the information out of those prisoners.by what ever means necessary even torture.because the discomfort of six enemy combatants is worth the lives of all the people who would be affected by the IEDs. the repercussions will be very negative however on the individual how give commits the torture. because there are rules to war that tells us what we can and cant do to prisoners so no matter how right you think you are you will most likely suffer the consequences for breaking those rules. which could result in a court Marshall. also your government will take the heat for what you did so you could also cause your government to lose the peoples support for the war effort

weekly artical 2

yes i do think that there should be video games such ass call of duty to exist. they don't diminish the seriousness of war they show the seriousness of it.it doesn't really take a genius to know that if you are dieing so easily in a game imagine if you were really there.i think people don't give the players enough credit they know you don't have a reset button in real life,no extra life.also our own military and other militaries around the world use war games to train they're soldiers.it helps them coupe with and react with real life situations.also if a company wants to make a game i think its there right to make it the way they want to make it and if you don't like it then just don't buy it its that simple.the reality of the game also shows the ugly side of war like all the death and destruction.so i believe it helps people who play the games gather a better understating a seriousness of war and also a deep appreciation for the ones who fight the war.so in summery i believe that they should keep making games like call of duty and if you don't like it then just don't buy it or play it.

dog fights

what i think goes on in a pilots mind during a air to air combat situation is concentration and focus.because when your airplane going 100 mph and people are shooting at you you don't have time to be afraid to panic if you were to make one little mistake your going to go down in flames.also you have to watch all your instruments within the plane as well so if you lose your focus not only on the guy shooting at u but on your own air plane your also going down
i think what caused the great number of casualties was the fact that there were many new weapons introduce such as the machine gun and flamethrower.also the weapons that were already there have been made even more deadly like artillery instead of the old fashion canons they now have much farther shooting howitzers.even the way the war was fought caused more casualties. they dug trench's and shot at each other waiting for on side to rush the other which lasted longer because both sides were at a stand still for long periods of time.
