what was you favorit blog topic

my favorit blog topic from this quarter was "does history matter". because now in days a lot
of kids dont really care about histoy and just try to disregard it because its the passed
and they dont think that it matters any more. and as a person who is very pasionate about histoy
it botherd me in a way and to be able to give my point of view on something a feel strong about
and get a grade for it was kind of cool.

is bloging different

i don't really think it was all that much different because no matter whether you ask for my
opinion on a pen or paper or a computer i would still give my honest opinion and speak or "write"
my mind regardless. but however it does make thing a lot easy er because i feel more relax and not as
rushed on the computer,i type faster then i write and i can multitask a lot easy er.

daily article african americans

the treatment of African Americans during the civil war Reconstruction and the civil rights movement are very similar.the over all public thought of white people being better that black people was still very strong.the segregation of the two races also was widely practiced.another thing was the KKK.in civil war Reconstruction they committed gruesome acts known as lynching which they also did in the 1960s and 1970s.but in the 1960s they marched down the streets chanting about white power and protesting rights given to blacks and other colors.but the Klan in the civil war era were much more secretive.not only the KKK committed aggressive acts agiast the blacks but also the law enforcement did as well.they were a lot of times when they would arrested a black man with little to no evidence to crimes they did not commit also when African Americans try to protest a lot of times it ends with the police department beating people and hitting them with the fire hoses.the court system in both eras were also against them as well. when a black man was being prosecuted he had to face an all white jury and judge which almost all the time ruled them guilty.both eras however bad the African Americans were treated were stepping stones which they fought for in order to be considered equal in the united states and from the civil war reconstruction to the civil movement all the way to 2010 i believe they have acomplished there goal
life in the text tile factories must have been very difficult.very long days of non stop hard work, little to no safety codes and all for little pay.even the children weren't safe from it since they had no child labor laws.it seems so awkward seeing this happen in the united states.because it is so different we have child labor laws sunch as if u are under eighteen you cant work passed 12.we created the 40 hour work week, minumum wage, and safety codes that all the building and work places must follow. makes me kinda glade to be 17 in 2010.
the immigrants coming to Ellis island must have felt amazed by all the nice buildings on the inside and outside the way people were dressed and how the landscaped looked.but then when they go to the city streets of new york and saw all the garbage in the streets and the living conditions it must have been the opposite of what their first look into the united states of America was

weekly artical cowboys

in Hollywood cowboys are the hero's of the west there polite, hardworking, gun slinging, tough guys
in real life there is some truth to the portray but also some Pieces are not so truthful.in real
life cowboys were indeed hard workers.they had to mend protect and wrangle cattle and horse
which isn't easy work.one of the false stereo types in Hollywood however is that the cowboys were gun slinging violent
people.cowboys seemed to be very social having many parties known as hoe downs or rodeos.what was very
surprising in real life that was not shown in Hollywood is the fact that many cowboys were
homosexual.this was due to the the low population of women in the west and the Strong bond between the cowboys.
another thing that differs in movies then in real life is that in movies there were many rouge cowboys or just a
group of two or three of them.but in real life this hard rigorous job requires a whole team of cowboys each with
specific jobs like a boss and cook.a stereo type that Hollywood did get right for the most part was the clothing the cowboys
wore. it consisted of cowboy hat bandanna cowboy boots chaps jeans and gloves.necessary cloths for the job i suppose.all in all
Hollywood did a great job in making the American cowboy entertaining but far from a bulls
eye on the truth.

rocky racoon

the beatales portray the wild west by showing how reckless and quick tempered they were useing
the example of Rocky's girl friend leaving him for another guy so he went to try to kill the guy. yes i do believe this is accurate
because there was little to no law out in the west but a heck of a lot of guys guns and whiskey
so all of those in combination allows things like that to happen

cowboy stereo types

some of the stereo types that the portray in gun smoke is that the cowboys are the tough guys and the heroes
of the west.the also love to shoot there guns and have the greatest aim in the world.another
thing is there cloths they have cowboy hats and boots with the brown or black vests

6 word story

settle the west for the best
