iam poem
i am a person of color
i wonder why ever one Else hates up
i her foul and discriminating things
i see hatred and violence being carried out
i want for all of us to just get along
iam a person of color
i pretend sometimes that every thing is alright
i feel better about my self when i do this...some times
i need to no longer pretend but to know
i worry that this may never come true
i cry and plead but it gets me no where
i am a person of color
i understand that it may take some time
i believe that some day it might come true
i dream that we will all stick together thick and though
i try with my people to get our point across peacefully
i hope it just stay peacefully

meritocracy
i belive meirocracy is true,if you really want something you must work hard to get it.thats the system this whole country is based off of.for some it may be harder then others depending on your family backround and where you live and ect. but its be proven to be possible to rise above every thing and prove every one wrong and achive what ever you want as long as you stick to it.thats part of what makes america so great.
x or mlk?
Malcolm x and martin Luther king have 2 very different approaches to reach there goals during the civil rights movement.i believe martin Luther kings approach was more effective. i say this because by not using violence then didn't do any thing wrong so its hard for people and the justice system to argue against them.if they used Malcolm X's method of violence and but any means necessary it brings negative criticism towards there movement which may delay there movement.

Shoah foundation reactions
after watching a few of the stories told by the holocaust victims i felt shocked and saddened by there testimonies.although i have heard what the Nazis had done to the Jews and others many many times it still to this day never sizes to surprise me on how ruthless and just inhuman one human being can be to another.the saddest thing is that even today as we speak even after people around the world heard those stories genocide is still being committed today and most likely will be for many many years.

dear Principal
to often in class rooms are there missing pieces to a puzzle or censored facts about a event in history.like the rape of Nanjing and the Ukrainian famine and many others.history is a recorded account of what happened these events no matter how gruesome or brutal they did happen and to Deny or censor their existence is a spit in the face to those who lived through them and experienced them.also we are high school students and all the teachers and staff here at school are constantly telling us that we are young adults and we should act like it.if this is true then why don't you give us adult topics and conversations? my point is if we are going to be the leaders of tomorrow then we should become familiar with and learn how to deal with such topics not turn our backs on them.

should we get involved?
i believe the u.s should get involved to stop other countries from committing genocide. because as a world power i believe it is our duty to protect people from any country committing mass murder.and if we just sit there and do nothing then they will just keep on doing it.in the matter of life or death we need to act quickly and use military force if necessary to stop dictators and other political heads from carrying out these acts

organized crime
what i learned about organized crime in class was that it was very well thought out and planed process.its not like the gangsters u see today who just commit random acts of violence and just shoot stuff up and get caught all the time.the players in organized crime are very intelligent business like individuals who most of the time always have a plan a b and c to commit the crime and get out without being caught. the also have a well developed military like chain of command which helps the efficiency and discipline of the gang.you follow you orders you stick to the plan you get paid you go home every body wins. in theory of course.
religion vs evoloution
when it comes to the debate on whether to teach evolution or religion i believe we should have some schools that teach both.because both are valid arguments and u cant just teach one side of the matter to people if they truly don't believe in it. so i they should be taught both.then they decide which to believe in and pick a school based on that.but all so in both schools teach tolerance of other peoples belief's because augment of the subject happen much to often.
